Re: anyone else happy the JETS didn't get the chance to take McFa
He'll make the roster in Tampa, and probably see some PT in his rookie season. The reason I don't blame him for leaving is; I don't see FSU having a great season whether he stayed or not, I'm sure he realized that as well and decided to move on.
Re: anyone else happy the JETS didn't get the chance to take McFa
then hes an idiot and its not a surprise he went to F$U
no matter how badly they suck......he should have stayed because he could have played for a paycheck
now hes got nothing guaranteed.......getting himself to even the 4th round would guarantee him something
Re: anyone else happy the JETS didn't get the chance to take McFa
Ahh he'll make the rookie minimum for a few years, i'm sure he won't starve.
I agree he really could have raised his stock with another year in college. In his defense though he was given a high 3rd-4th round grade from the NFL after the season last year, the combine dropped his stock big time though.

why dont you blame him for leaving early?
hes an idiot
another year means at least 2 rounds higher.......and more money
more money = better chance of making a roster
</div></div>
That's not always the case....Brohm would especially disagree with ya there

take out the back slash in the first quote tag

brohm was still the same qb......the problems this year were two fold......a new offensive system and alot of injuries......both of which didnt allow him to put up the same numbers........there was still talk of him sneaking into the first round this year.......so i dont think he really hurt himself too much by coming back
but leaving early to be a 7th round pick doesnt make sense
Re: anyone else happy the JETS didn't get the chance to take McFa
When he left, I'd assume he thought he would go higher. But Brohm would have been a 1st rounder last year and stayed. On another note...what is the NYG infatuation with SEC QBs???...namely UK QBs??..lol
